Karen Kaplan is known for her engaging style and her warm sense of humor, which clients say makes them feel at ease and comfortable. She is comfortable working with clients who are in new or established relationships, those dealing with infidelity, parenting concerns including co-parenting issues, blended family challenges; as well as issues that are often underlying the problem, including personal direction and career development. She is extensively experienced with the dynamics involved in relationships. She works with people who are trying to decide to stay or to leave, those struggling through separation and divorce and those still dealing with issues after the final decree. Karen also teaches and co-authored the co-parenting class Pro-Active Parenting and Divorce the Florida Court Approved Parent Education and Family Stabilization Class required for divorcing parents of children 18 years and under. She holds a Master Degree of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Boston University as well as a Master's in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
