My father’s debilitating illness, rendering him unable to work, inspired me to become a financial advisor, and drives my passion for planning to this day. We had no savings and my mother had limited earning potential. My parents did not have a plan for this unforeseen and catastrophic event, and it financially devastated our family.
Through experience, I earned the value of saving, investing and planning – even accounting for those things we don’t want to think about.
In 1996 I created Eaton Financial Group. We have clients all over the United States, some with a high net-worth, some with very little, some with very high income and some with none. Our vision is that our clients consistently enhance their financial decision-making.
I have a great job! I get to spend all of my time helping my clients NOT worry about money. Because they are financially prepared – no matter what happens – they have peace of mind. We cannot control what life throws our way, but we can demonstrate our love for our family through proper planning and ensuring that all contingencies have been carefully addressed.
Outside of work, I value my time staying involved with the community. In addition to serving as a board member and Trustee of the Parkland Chamber of Commerce, I mentor DECA students, volunteer time with several community based organizations, and coach youth running.
Moved by the profound impact of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, I founded 4FNow.org, the MSDHeroesChallenge.org, and The Eaton Family Foundation. Each of these entities focus on providing support to individuals and start-up charitable organizations in an effort to make communities safer places to live, work, worship and go attend school.
I live in Parkland, FL with my wife of 20 years and my 2 daughters. With a Bachelor of Business in Finance from University of Miami I am devoted to lifelong learning, consistently pick up new skills, both in my own industry, and other areas of interest. I enjoy the local running/fitness community and train for and run marathons, practice yoga, and also greatly value travel with my family.
